God So High

by Catherinebutterfly

Day by day I have watched Christianity place God so high up in heaven,
while pushing Humanity lower and lower in hell.
This uncrossable gap between us and God helps keep our love ones in jail.
living outside God draws them into their own personal hell,

O if I could only reach a few,
if I could only touch a few hearts,
break a few hearts with the Truth of God.
Like a wide, raging river, humanity has separated from God,
our children eyes are close, their minds blinded by the enemy of the soul.
So few of our children know God, so many know of God,
So many not realizing that God is a living Reality.

Our children bounded by the darkness that consumes them, rules them,
while helping them to abuse themselves,
they call it cool when truth allows us with open eyes to know,
the devil within, the demons, the imps they’ve allowed to live within themselves
with permission, to hold them bound by the enemy of their soul.

Young people, having no goals, no desires to accomplish anything,
dead dreams, lost dreams, slowly losing themselves into a world
that can only swallow them up.

God! I speak silently to myself, we need You,
our children, Your children needs You.
Heavenly Father we can do nothing without You.
This darkness shadows over their face,
burying itself within, well hidden
from those within the walls they reside in,

Praising and seeking a God in the sky
not daring to reach out to God as a living Reality.
Afraid to show to love life or humanity,

God, You are so close, yet so far away, so real,
so approachable, within arm reach,
yet our young people are filled with so much unbelief,
doubt and insecurity keeps our young people
from realizing that God is so close.
So near, yet so far.
We Your living temples O, Father God,
we break Your heart My Lord, my Father,
Conventional Christianity has been unable to make living and knowing You God a reality.
Help us Father. Help our children to open their eyes,
Help them to realize You are not up in thre sky,
but right here, not up there, some place among the clouds,
where flesh and blood can't roam.

Day by day I have watched Conventional Christianity place God so high up in heaven,
while pushing Humanity lower and lower in hell.
This uncrossable gap between us and God helps keep our love ones in jail.
Living outside God draws them into their own personal hell,

Wake up, wake up. God's not up there, He's right here, knocking, knowing let Him in.
