The Fools Says In His Heart There Is No God

by Catherinebutterfly

God will get your attention one way or the other.
Try to envision it.
Multiply the compounding effects of
One disaster in one major metropolis
By two, four, six or ten.
Who do you think will win
In the end?

The fool says in his heart there is no God.

In the midst of terrifying
tumultuous events,
Prophetic warning is nothing less
Than our Creator reaching out
To His creation.
That day should not come upon you unawares:
You need not be ensnared.

The fool says in his heart there is no God.

The same great God who is measuring
This destruction of trauma upon the earth
Is the Same God
Who Seeks your repentance.

The fool says in his heart there is no God.

Apparently, it will take more
Than a few city's destruction
To soften some hearts.
And to hear our Great God.

 The whispers getting louder
The fool says in his heart there is no God.

In the shadow of such climates fury
So much corruption in Leadership,
President blowing away continents, cities and towns.
Clergies stepping down
Big time preachers messing around,
Teachers falling on the job
All these things ripping at the Fathers heart.

The fools says in his heart there is no God.

In the aftermath of such despicable human
Conduct, the proper response is not defiance.
It is quiet contemplation,
Self-examination.
Introspections.
Meekness.
Repentance.
Spiritual rejuvenation.

The fools says in their heart there is no God.

A fearful looking at The Great Creator
Who permitted, perhaps even unleashed, the tempest
Who witnessed every ugly act that followed.

The Fool is the first one to holler
Where are You God?
Have mercy! Please! save me?
Words pleading from their heart.
Not once had he ever acknowledge God

For he said there is no God.
