Everything Changed

by Catherinebutterfly

Everything changed as men insane

Controlled and wrecked by demonic brains

Flew into the U.S. of A to share their pain

On September 11, 2001 a cruel history was made

The devil sent some of his right hand men

To put an end to the lives of innocent women,

Children and men as their world were to end.

And worldwide fear would begin

They tell me four airplanes were hijacked,

Then sent crashing into the twin towers

In less then few minutes not even and hour

They hit Manhattan World Trade Center,

It hit quick the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania

Demonstrating their demonic powers all was over in an hour

As they announced to the U. S. A

There's loop holes and opening in America’s security

These heartless angry souls, allowed the devil to control

How they lived and how they died as they came

They knew they was going to die, as they took to the sky

Theses hurting souls, highly organized Al Qaeda terrorists

Committed this horrible thing

I still wonder how any one could be so hateful and mean.

Right there on the scheme as folks below

Ran crying and screaming in fear,

At the sound of the blast, the people knew

“Their” end time was near,

This wasn’t the way they had planned to go

Then not many of us know,

The way we will leave this world

Life and death is not in our hands as we did plainly see,

The worlds of many came to an end

The world of many came to a close,

As many came to a disposure by the Al Qaeda terrorists,

No way was this done in love, nor was it designated

From above as many might labour it to be,

So many said it’s was only a matter of time,

With America so full of crime

America so filled with power, stood still in that hour

That these creatures of darkness did come

As we did not watch and we did not seek the hour

When destruction would stand at our door

On that Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001,

Eight years ago

This was no random attack.

It was a coordinated assault on our nation.

Some one asked will we ever get back

To the normal again after 9/11?

How can one answer a question like that?

It’s simple and real, as the answer is:

When the churches are once empty again

After 9/11 the churches were packed and folks was

Repentant of sins, I never saw before so many humble men.

For all of six weeks it was like that,

There was a substantial increase in church

Attendance around the country—

And then, the crisis was past,

And God was no longer important.

It seems that man wants to ignore God

Except in the midst of tragedy.

The Old Testament prophet Isaiah wrote about such a time.

"No one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth.

They trust in empty words and speak lies.

They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity...

Their feet run to evil,

And they make haste to shed innocent blood;

Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;

Wasting and destruction are in their paths.

The way of peace they have not known,

And there is no justice in their ways;

They have made themselves crooked paths;

Whoever takes that way shall not know peace"

These words are of Isaiah fifty nine, four, seven to eight.

Was not wrong and nor a mistake.

9/11 proves Isaiah to be right, as Man, without God,

will make "crooked paths."

Cultures will clash and evil will triumph.

People will suffer and lives will be destroyed.

And unless humanity has a sincere change of heart,

these tragedies like 9/11 will continue—

again and again and again because of man’s willing sins

until they come to an end

Yes, some things changed forever after 9/11

but one thing returned to normal in a matter of days.

God is still an afterthought when it comes to the safety

of our country and peace is more elusive today

than it has ever been in the history of our planet.

As we remember the tragic events of 9/11

may God help us to remember the real source of protection,

the real source of peace and the real answer to evil.

Before 911 set in again.
