Ms. Body is a native of St. Louis, Missouri who enjoys reading and writing black fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and personal essays. She earned a Bachelor’s in Criminology/Criminal Justice from UM-St. Louis in 1994 and a Master’s in Legal Studies from Webster University in St. Louis in 1999. Her main focus has been to touch the psyches of black men and women with her poetry by focusing on the real issues we deal with while trying to succeed and maintain in today’s society. Her future plans are to complete her first fiction novel, self-publish a compilation of her poetry, and to become a well-known essayist.
