Charles Curtis Blackwell

Charles Curtis Blackwell is a community organizer with the cultural arts programs in Washington D. C. and California. He is the author of several theater plays, poems, short stories, novels and lyrics, which have been published nationally and internationally. Some of his notable publications include the book, The Fiery Responses to Love Callings, and the theater play, "Is the Color of Mississippi, Mud". In 1990 he was featured in African Community, a magazine published by the internationally renowned and highly respected Nigerian writer, Chinua Achebe.
