Only if we fight and meet the challenge strong,
The strength we wield may be to no avail.
With undaunted spirits, we must meet the foe head on
As we raise our gauntlets to the triumph we hail;
For we are defenders of the dreams and goals we cherish,
As others may rival for the laurels we espy;
Though humble we must combat, or in the struggle perish
With our aegis of ambition and banners we fly.
Only if we fight can we stand proud and free
Against heartless hunters eager to strap us in chains.
Their battering rams shall never crack our dignity,
Though pummeled by these pirates whose deeds we disdain.
Draped in feathers, we are warriors of our cause.
As champions we race our chariots to the battlefield
Where our heroic feats pray force the tyrants to pause,
Or get vanquished in remorse by our valor and zeal.
