Shifting Echoes

by Levi James Baldwin III

Have you ever yelled aloud and heard...
your voice echo for infinity?
Do you ponder at that same moment...
that's how I wish happiness could be.
Every good second of your life...
building intensity then slowly fading.
like dying in a active dream...
about downhill skiing or rollerblading.
Or bathing under niagra falls...
1000 miles of water cascading.
Becoming a avalanche of H2O...
neverending, pausing or waiting.
Every action I make in life causes...
a shift in my worldly perception.
I only want the good parts to echo...
like firing a automatic weapon.
It's useless to ponder shifting echoes...
with so much life left in me.
When my heart stops my actions will remain....
eternally part of earths memory.
