Intellect is the pen name of Antwian (An-twon) Marcel Crawford, a 33 year old Architectural Designer presently living in South Florida. He has
been writing for 18 years and enjoys it very much because it is a “limitless form of expression,” he says.
Antwian was one of the many talented poets and writers that participated in the TimBookTu Anthology
called Journey to TimBookTu: An African-American Poetic Odyssey and was a TimBookTu Featured Writer
of the Month for the month of November, 2000.
Mr. Crawford is also the Founder of an award winning website called The Underground Poets Society
(The Un.P.S.)
, which is a website, featuring, but not limited to, people of color from all around the world. The website
was created and designed by Mr. Crawford to display his poetic talents as well. The Underground Poets Society currently
features The Un.P.S. On-Line Open Mic, which is an on-line community dedicated to
poetry as well as short stories and essays.

Antwian has currently finished his first book of poetry called, A Look Into My Third Eye, making it’s debut May 2, 2005. The
book touches on a variety of different topics and is broken down into four different categories, which are... Love, Life, The
Message and The Spirit. Everyone can find something that will appeal to them in this timeless compilation of poetry written this
