About Time

by Antwian Marcel Crawford

Time can be spent and time can be served,
And those two verbs can be well deserved.
Spending time with your love, gazing at the stars,
Or you can serve time behind prison bars.
How time passes you by is up to you,
I suggest using time wisely until your time is through.
I don’t think I would change my mind,
If I could turn back the hands of time.
Time waits for no one, time won’t stop,
And I have no time to fight the hands of a clock.
If you waist time everyday that you live,
Then you don’t know what time it is.
From the time you were born till the time you pass,
What’s important is how you spend your dash*
Don’t wait for tomorrow, do it today,
Cause time just keeps on ticking away.
