Abram Lee

Abram Lee is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. When he was about age three, his parents moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1972, he graduated from D. H. Stanton Elementary School and received “The Outstanding Student Award.” He attended Smith High School. Later Calhoun High (in Alabama) became his new school. He founded a school newspaper, Tiger Talk, and was editor-in-chief. He was greatly influenced in Atlanta by Richard Wright’s Black Boy.
