Get Them Straight In The High Chair (Two)

by Lionel C. Whitehead

Get them straight in the High Chair
And you won’t have to worry about
The Electric Chair.

When life begins,
does it really matter?
The death penalty
is it truly run by savages?
The system taken the life of many
This says plenty about weather or
Not when life begin or if it matters

The effects of war and self defense
At least for law enforcement
Lay the ground
for life does not matter
And the question of who gets to decide
Does become a issue.
In the United States much of our freedom,
As we understand it,
Is defined and protected by the Bill of Rights,
Then why are we locked up behind this wall
Fighting for our lives?

Because someone sitting on a bench believes
They know what is wrong and what is right.
Only the Lord holds that right
The First Amendment to
The Constitution is to protect us
Not hang us, destroy us, or take our lives
Innocent unto proven guilty has never been
For
The poor man or the slow man.
Governments, be it state or fed
Decide when someone is eligible
For the death penalty and a jury
Decides if that convict will indeed
Be put to death or live or not.
They are keeping the coals in hell hot

Get them straight in the High Chair
And you won’t have to worry about
The Electric Chair.
