Voices |

Listen to the voices. They speak with clarity. The voices speak. But do we listen? The voice of racism. It pronounces itself to be correct. The voice proclaims who is inferior. The voice of war. It speaks in a booming voice And believes it has a solution. The voice of poverty. With shame it speaks. With alarm it tells. The voice of hunger. It speaks of its presence. It speaks of its need. Voices spoken among the dissonance of life. Voices that demand our attention. |
