I have been with you for so very long...
Waiting, anticipating when you'd be strong...
every day it seems there's something new...
Why you can't do the things our supposed to...
We now have two babies that we have to feed...
You don't get your old children's needs...
I look at you now with mothers' eyes...
It won't be long before we say our goodbyes...
We're hungry, you say I love you, well, I love you right back...
What has beaten you so bad that you can't bounce back...
This heavy heart is tired of that...
What happened to your self respect...
I know it's hard, it's hard for me to...
You're the lover, father, tell me what should we do...
Food stamps and welfare are trying to be my man...
It seems to define everything that I am...
Look at brother number one...
His wife and family have so much fun...
He's not rich, just works every day...
She knows he knows how to spend his pay...
I deserve better than this...I know I do...
Pack you bags brother because today, yes today we are through
