Long ago 
Before the days of email
We only had snail mail
Then 
When I knew you
When everything was different
When Oreos were bigger 
And we didn’t say,  what up n*****
When we were a community
When everything wasn’t just about me
Way before the days of Kobe and Shaq
Before Arnold said “I’ll be back”
I mean way back
Like when they say “back in the day”
When there were no video games
and we went outside to play
Remember those days, maybe you do
I don’t,  I’m only twenty-two
But I can just imagine how it was “back in the day”
