What's the point behind being born to live when your gonna live someone else's life? 

You're not living yet...

I took a gamble, spoke the truth, might've went too far and caused a scandal. 

If I had to do it over, I would strike another match to that candle.

Can't believe you sit there and play with rusted tools.

Blinded from your own truth now your trap in a world with fools.

If there were no consequences would you have done it?

Cause you say its not worth it.

Is it not worth it morally thus far? Or because it could put you behind bars?

There is no morality with the afterthought of consequence. 

To me there is no street smarts only common sense.

It took me some time to wake up.

Now my minds clear, time to shake some things up.

I stand before you not afraid to say what I want.
