She can’t help it
If she’s emotional, spiritual, perplexed,
Tired, overworked and undersexed,
Beautiful, convinced, envious, mischievous,
Some may even say she’s devious…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it
If she loves her man more than he do,
Breaking her back doing for her dude,
Always trying to prove her love is true,
Kissing his ass and all of his boo-boos…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it
If she has motherly instincts
And the nature to love and nurture,
Learning about and loving her womanly culture,
Although some may call her an unstable creature…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it
When she walks by
And catches every man’s eye
Because she’s so fresh and so fly
And watching tear-jerking movies makes her cry…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it
If she is able to conceive,
Carry and bear a seed and on top of that,
One week out of each month she repetitiously bleeds
And still take care of her business and all of her man’s needs…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it if she is awesome and wonderful,
And yet still mysterious in all of her splendid bliss,
With luscious full lips
That is always down for a kiss…from her man that is…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it
If she’s phenomenal like Maya Angelou said
And writes poetry as creativeness flows
through her pen from her talented head
And remembers every title and author of every book
She’s ever read…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it
If she loves books, loves to cook,
And can wear a sexy dress that makes her man do a double take
And have a third, fourth, and a fifth look…
She’s a woman.
She can’t help it
If she dreams of taking that long awaited stride
To become her man’s bride
Has earned her man’s love and trust
And has nothing to hide
And wanting the world to know she’s in for the long ride
And knowing it was worth all of the tears she’s cried…
She’s a woman.
