My Sisters

by Vamecia L. Powell

Dedicated to Vinezia & Chelsea

One is blood and we share dads
The other is a friend, Lord knows I'm glad
One is two, the other give or take
The other isn't real but also not fake
You see, my life without my sisters isn't complete
Even though the older always makes fun of my feet
The younger laughs a lot no matter of the joke
Boy, I can't imagine my life without these two folks
The younger I talk to and she listens all the time
The older gives advice that only costs a dime
The younger sucks her thumb and sleeps really wild
The other often in public calls me her only child
The younger switches out a lot and can barely even talk
The older is classy and eat french fries with a fork
The younger I kiss a lot cause her cheeks are so fat
The older loves me but says that she doesn't play that
The younger has dimples that are so adorable
And the older thinks that without make up she'll look horrible
Both are blessed females that are cute and sweet
And both better be glad that they have a sister like me
