Even though I "should be" cryin.
When you see me lend a hand
To someone that was cruel.

When you see me smile at my enemies
help ‘em out when they in need...

It’s God’s love shining through me

When you see that I’m fastin,

When you see me go to church;

It’s God’s faith stickin with me

When you see me in the corner,

When you see me in the class,
When you see me study w/o rest,
When you see me ace the test...

It the wisdom of the spirit within me

When you see me make some choices...
(I know that they’re not perfect)
when you see that I have sinned
(don’t worry, God is ready to forgive)
when you see me in confession
(it’s because I’ve learned my lesson)
