Black women need love too.
 
Oh, yes they do.
 
What women of ethnic heritage
can lay claim to such power,
dignity, and strength?
 
Women of African descent
Have raised nations
on this continent.
 
She is blue-souled
Moon-controlled
Eons old
Her true worth
could never be told.
 
Black women need love too.
Indeed.
 
And, at god speed
I hope my fellow
brothers proceed
Taking heed to their need.
I've loved Black women
since my early years
 
When my Mother and two
older sisters eased my fears
with love, compassion.
 
They raised me to be
the man that I am.
 
Because of them,
I know that I can
do whatever I dream.
 
Black women need to be loved
and deserved to be loved
Because she is Supreme.
