My head in my hands
Tears in my eyes
My heart’s heavy 
The light has gone
Yet I look at the heavens
And there you are, sparkling brightly 
In the light of dawn

Now the simple things in life mean more
I watch the sun rise and set 
A feeling of completeness descents 
As I realise you still here.

YOU dried my tears a thousand times

My thoughts were jumble and confused

Laughter now surrounds me, radiant I shine, 
Nothing can touch me
