There are many dads
good dads
bad dads
deadbeat dads
great dads
late dads
abusive dads
elusive dads
confused dads
misused dads
loving dads
hugging dads
single dads
evil dads
legal dads
illegal dads
dedicated dads
elated dads
blessed dads
stressed dads
and the list drags.....
I am glad
2 be a dad
honorably
tagged
as such
though much
of the keypad
strokes
from folks
I've met
especially sons
often
they resent
their dads
most of my
comrades
had bad dads
which has made them
bad dads
cuz,
having gonads
doesn't make you a
dad
avoiding this little
doodad
it's sad
fool,
being a real dad
isn't a fad
like plaid
slacks
in the 60's
but,
having a dad
adds
to a lads
opportunity
a space that's
empty
will be filled
with peers less
skilled
at being dads
so peers get
killed
seeking dads
in streets
or imitating
dads
in sheets
with freaks
even rap beats
are covered with
bleeps
from JaRule
to JayZ
claiming
they never
had
real dads
just
deadbeat dads
good dads
produce
College grads
Yet
not having a dad
made me a
better dad
simply I had
no need to add
to the bad
dad
triad
I never met my
granddad
and that's probably
why my dad
didn't feel bad
being an
absent dad
since he never had
a loving dad to
emulate
or demonstrate
being a bad dad
was easy
so I'm the best dad
I can be
raising my son to be
like me...
a hugging dad
a loving dad
who's glad
to be his
DAD
