A Couple

by Timothy W. Crawford

No longer a couple
tried to juggle
but
fumbled
tumbled
loss a bundle
in the concrete jungle
buried myself in
emotional rubble
tried
utilizing muscle
amidst hustle
amidst bustle
thru obstacles
&
trouble
seeking to find your
double,
but
life burst my
bubble
living alone;
a struggle,
my hostility crumbled
your words
mumbled
your
love for me
funneled
thru my pain
you
tunneled
to my brain
you're
INCREDIBLE!
your lips...
supple
your smile...
subtle
your body...
my body
cuddled
your love...
eternal
my
heart
forever
humble
no more
scuffle
for me
in
the concrete
jungle
you;
me;
we;
infinite
couple.
