In these trying and difficult times
Its essential that me and Jesus combine
to break through the thick covering
Cleaning self from the dirt and grime

Alone I have no firm grip or control
Lost direction, lost soul
but together with Jesus' guidance
My self worth is elevated pass gold

No need to be valued as others see me
My path is my own destiny
Building up towards greater awareness
Jesus is the example of what's the epitome

Fear of not talking to HIM for so long
Shouldn't stop my communication  for continuing on
so whenever possible
I need to praise Him with prayer and song
