It happens once every couple of weeks
Tension builds then I hit my peak
I attack you with words
Then you barely speak

I don't know why I do it
But that's no excuse
Try to control it best I can
Still it's no use

I beat you with blame
Hang you with a theoretical noose 
Slap you with accusations trying to get the truth
It's called verbal but nothing short of physical abuse

And I'm trying so hard to stop doing this to you...
