Dr. Tolulope O. Idowu’s academic interest locates in gender studies and how these can be interrogated in literary scholarship within a socio-cultural context. Dr. Idowu is particularly interested in promoting the Womanist principle as the exploratory tool for social justice and gender complementarity. Professionally, she holds dual roles as faculty and administrator in higher education institutions. In her spare time, she also enjoys writing short creative narratives.
