went shopping, bowling and you told me I was yours forever
Did you love me this morning? When you burnt me with the iron because I said
I didn’t want to cook I was just too damn wore out and tired
Did you love me Sunday? At the church where we prayed together and tried to
heal all of our hurt
Do you love me now? In this hospital bed with a gun shot to my head
Will you love me next week? When they bury me six feet deep, because you put
me in my final sleep, one more  question will you even weep?
