The Little Things

By The Brown Suga Poet

When I sigh
It feels like
Blessings come
And fall
On me
When I breath
I sometimes
Inhale
Only to exhale
You see I am a simple creature
Curious
And finding the luxurious
Things in the
Simpler things
The smallest
Miracles
Can be so big
The softest touch
Can mean so much
The most insignificant
Significant word
Can be
Uttered
Or muttered
And hold the weight
Of a thousand
Inagural speeches
One rose
Can be such a site
To see
One cool breeze
Can
Ease
tension like
the most expensive masage
celebrate
the seemingly
little things in life
the little things in life
the little things in life
the little things in life
