A ship, at sea sinking
just like me
sinking deeper and deeper 
with all it's sorrow
I began to wonder,
Could that ship be lost,
 just like me,

Far out to sea,
A lighthouse, light shined brightly
waves hitting it with such force
Living a life just like me..
Battered and beaten
A  ship rocks back and forth
trying to steer, stay afloat
Just like me

Suddendly, a bright glowing light appeared 
radiating from the Lighthouse
the light, appeared on me
I stumbled, 
my feet was loosely
gripping the sand
waves hit me hard 
 I fell upon the sand

As, I  steadied myself 
I looked around, all directions
 It had to be you, Lord 
You with 
arms, extended,  not visible
but your presence felt
 the light

Had given up
blamed everyone ,they deserted me
But you never left me
I see.
