My Graduate

by Sheryl Renee' Talley

My Graduate, My Daughter, My Gift
Oh, I waited through the years
Nothing can compare
To the joy expressed in my tears.

My Graduate, My Daughter, My Gift
So young, so bright, so free
Learn the lessons of life
Stop, Look, and listen you see.

My Graduate, My Daughter, My Gift
The road to success is not always straight
Remember the Values and Morals taught
Place GOD first, to determine your Fate.

My Graduate, My Daughter, My Gift
The race is not to the swift
Slow down to be a light in the world
Your Purpose is to illuminate.

GOD blessed you to me to lift
GOD will one day bring you should be
I hope this is somehing you will see
My Graduate, My Daughter, My Gift.
