I've got ideas on how to change the problems of the world 
got major problems dealing with the ones that are mine
So is now the time to seize the time or has that time pasted
Has the movement of our people been lulled to

A generation of black people locked in a mental prison
those with true knowledge teachin'
but are we listenin'
We chase the big car, big house and the American dream
but with us still being niggas in the Master's house what does that mean?
