In A Coma |
by Kāteb Nuri Shunnar |
Here in my prison I lie here in deep sleep I lie here On breathing machines In the room all alone IN A COMA Sleep for days Sleep years Waiting for an angel to come and awake me with its tears Here in my prison I lie in my bed With a stack of pillows behind my head Awaiting a touch from heaven so that I may awake the dead Who was killed by the beast I LIE HERE IN A COMA Because my soul is not resting in peace From the numerous calamities that lies at the Poors feet |
