Do I tend to let my emotions take control?
In certain cases, yes.
Such as
Matters of the heart.

When I open myself to another,
All of my emotions follow.
In return, I expect the same.
But that is rare.

I think back to the past…
How much of myself have I given?
How little I have received in return,
Which caused me to close the door,
To my heart.

But now I hear a knock…
A very faint, but steady one.
The door is slowly opening…

For it to open completely,
You must understand,
That I do not give my heart easily.

That yours is already open…
