Shamontiel L. Vaughn, the creator of the novel Change for a Twenty, has over thirty published articles, four short stories, and four poems in various locations including www.associatedcontent.com/shamontiel and magazines such as Citizens in America Magazine (NY), Fate Magazine (MN), Spoken Vizions Magazine (MO), and Underlined Magazine (IL).

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Lincoln University (MO) and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Writing degree at DePaul University (IL). She is a professional Assistant Copyeditor, a freelance editorial writer, and a novelist. Her primary writing focus concentrates on stories that the Generation X and Y groups can relate to.
