Unable to sleep
Thoughts of you
Invade my mind
Leaving reality in the background
My heart drenched with love
My feelings and emotions bubbling over
Into the unknown
Not knowing where to go
Or who to place its emphasis 
Knowing he’s there
Just not knowing who he is
Quietness adds to the insanity
Staring up at the ceiling in the dark
Reinforces my loneliness
Maybe he is thinking 
And dreaming of me
As I am of him
Are thoughts of me in his mind?
Do I contribute to his sleepless nights?
Hoping for the day when we will be free
