I Wanted To Say Yes So Bad...

A pleasant catastrophe you were
When I first saw you I knew your name was trouble
I couldnít help but gaze up and down at your being
You looked at me with no specific intent
Just a beautiful smile
Itís like the ground under me became shaky
Suddenly I questioned where I stood
All because of you
I was going through changes
Our infrequent encounters kept me on the edge
Waiting impatiently for the next time
your eyes would connect with mine
I felt like one of those females
out of foolish romance literature
It couldnít be love, cause I donít know you
But you were wrapped around my mind at all times
An enigma that I just couldnít seem to decipher
Which intrigued me even more
I made it my duty to remain subtle with my advances
Fully knowing the consequences and not caring.....
.....UNTIL reality smacked me in my face
Even though the sin was evident in my heart
Redemption was necessary
A happy filled sorrow so bittersweet and so sad
God knows I wanted to say yes so bad........
