Some Like It Black

by Sakira

Some like it black, like coffee straight
No milk, no cream

That’s the Brothers that are down with Africa
Or so it would seem
Some like a little milk in their coffee
Helps to cut the taste
Cause it's better when you drink it
Down straight
Ain't nothing wrong with a little bit of light
Cuts the dark, brightens the night
Then there are those who want a little coffee
With their milk, to add a little color
Use to be, we’d call those folks color struck
But you see I ain't mad at a brother.
But the ones I like most are those
who like a little bit flavor
Cause those are the ones who like
to take a taste and let it savour.
Keep on taking little sips and coming back for more
They are the ones you got to keep their cups filled that’s for sure.

Some like it black, no sugar, no cream
Down with Africa, or so it would seem

Some like it light, a little milk on the side
To make the taste a little smoother, just slide and glide
Some like it pale, only just a little color
But they still drinking coffee, don’t want no other
Some like it with a whole lot of flavor
These are the ones to look out for
Cause they don’t know when to stop
Keep coming back for more
More to savor.
So you it takes all kinds to fill us up
And we got all kinds like an overflowing cup
So step up to the counter and make your choice
Cause at SOME LIKE IT BLACK we want to hear your voice.
