Oh Black Landlord

by Anonymousgent

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
you have got to be jivin,'
And would you please stop it
With your ridiculous whinin'?

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
You scare us so!
What do you do with the cash
that you hoard?
Are you that much
Of a low down foe
To ignore your tenants grievances,
yet continue to collect their
doe?

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
For the fifth or sixth time,
We don'[t have any heat!
Must you treat us like criminals
who have committed a crime,
As to cold blooded dogs living
out on the streets?
Must we continue to gripe in order
to be heard or seen?

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
We ain't got no lights,
Surely something we must all afford
to eliminate the darkness into
Bright.
Tell me man, are you aware of
your plight?
If you are, would you kindly make things
right?

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
We don't have any gas,
Surely something we must all afford
which consists of the multiple mass.
Don't mess over
Us
Because we are black
For we will stir up a wailing
flak.

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
We now interrogate you.
Must we take our case
to a legal board?
Would your services by any different
if we were white?
Would you then perform like a
decent landlord,
And pay your utility bills with our
rent money that
We give you each month?

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
I ask of you,
Although you do not
Work,
How are you able to live and
maintain
While some of your tenants no longer
work,
Or pay their rent on
time?
A big disadvantage on your
Behalf,
Only to your own hurt.

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
We beg of you,
Don't take your personal problems
out on us
For purchasing a previous man's
Debt
Which you already knew.
How inconsistent can a person
be
Expecting your tenants to redeem you from your
plea?

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
You have been summoned to appear in
court
On the present status of your run down
building
Arranged by your tenants, of course, on
this building's multiple problems of many
Sorts.
This is like living once in a haunted like house
On the east side of Detroit Michigan.

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
You've been ordered to
Move,
As ordered by the honorable high
Judge,
So you had better get on the
groove,
And make this transition, like,
smooth
Making it into a peaceful
Cruise.

Oh black landlord, Black landlord,
You have fought with the
judge,
and somehow won your
stay
In your old dilapidated building.
Though, you have forced
Us
Poor people to stay with
you
Due to your reasonable
rent,
But we will eventually make you
Pay
For allowing us to live this
way.
