Mrs. Anne Garrott

by Catherine Prater

She is sturdy as the
strongest tree
that livesÖ
Planted By God to
Nurture the gardens,
To rid it of
Its unwanted weeds,
Watching with
A mothers eye
Chastising itís young
Still ruling
With her wisdom
Disregarding the
Years time
Has put upon her
Because she loves
Her children so much
She is driven to
Continue on her
Making sure that
They are fully-grown
And able to carry
Out each and every
Plan she has executed,
Her tenacious spirit
Keeps her youthful
Beauty shining
Bright as the
Sunniest day.
