Carole L. Piller is a native of Chicago who currently works as a legal secretary. Her new novel, From Avinger To Iroquois Street, a suspense/mystery is now available. From Avinger To Iroquois Street is about an African American couple who move into a coach house discovering a hidden treasure. Two white ex-cons arrive on the scene in search of the treasure jeopardizing the lives of the couple. Carole L. Piller is also the author of Cunning Proposals, a romance/detective story involving an illegal casino where the characters’ lives intertwine, resulting in an entertaining story of love, crime, and murder. She has written short stories, speeches, and written as a ghostwriter. As she continues to write, she hopes that her stories will be intriguing enough to hold the attention of many readers.

She has co-authored a children’s book with her oldest daughter, Nicole. Piller is in the process of creating an educational activity book for toddlers with her youngest daughter, Alicia, owner of designsbyaliciap.com. With no time in her life for idleness, she finds pleasure in digital photography, graphic designs, gardening, and home construction projects.
