Oh, how beautiful is the suffering of life,
With its endless practical jokes to feed its own desires
Hopes and dreams turn to ash,
only to fertilize the fields of new beginnings
The scars she left behind serve as armor for the next battle
The tears you cried on those lonely nights
and the blood that flowed from your bleeding heart
will fill the chalice that will nourish another in need.
The door that slams in your face will allow you
to see others wide open beckoning for you to enter.
The aching for a loved-one gone Home,
will strengthen your wings for the flight of life.
When your empire has toppled and you’ve fallen into the Pit,
your focus can only be up for there is nowhere else to go.
Although the taste is bitter and the wounds can cut deep,
Pain is good.
It gives sight to the blind
Strength to the weak
Humility to the wise
And wisdom to the fool
It is our omnipotent personal trainer, forever pushing us to our limits
So always remember that in order to reap Life’s Gains,
You must go through Life’s Pains.
