Some people say love poems
are silly
I say, they don't know YOU.
If they knew YOU,
knew how you are, how sweetly you laugh,
when I tell you a joke
How you throw your head back
when I plant kisses on your neck
How wonderful you look in a t-shirt
without a bra with your nipples
showing through, how you call
my name so softly when I grab you
gently from behind while you're cooking
and rub myself against your ample bottom
Or how you doze off with your head in my lap
as we watch tv on the sofa.  If they knew YOU
and all these things, if they could just spend ONE
SECOND in your presence
they would no longer say
love poems are silly.
They would say, brother we know exactly how
you feel
And they THEMSELVES would write you a
Love poem.
