I painted love in my imagination
I felt what you felt
I sensed what you sensed
I understood as you did
We together were a correlation of imagination
And a recitation of Shakespearean love stories
The accumulation of old rose petlals surrounding a crystal vase
We were in love
There was no need for a psychic to look into our futures
For we knew that eachother was in both of ours
My thoughts were your thoughts
If I not have you then I have not
An illusion of your lips kissing someone else's besides mine
Not once crossed my mind
Commited is what we were in our world of monogomy
We were what failing relationships wanted to be
One plus one was an equation that equaled "us"
You and I together wasn't a need, but a must
This was an explanation of love as perfection
That was apart of my imagination
Last night, I envisioned this
