Me and you equaled us
Back in the times when having sex wasn’t a rush
To touch and to feel was just enough
The more we spoke the more in remembrance I became
We went as far back to when we first found out each others name  
When to have a good man wasn’t what was in
That good gyrl likes bad boy mentality had already set in
This was a battle that a good man couldn’t win
And a good man was what you were and still are to this day
And I admire that about you in every thought of way
I can’t lie and say I don’t sometimes wish 
Wish that she wasn’t and I was the soon to be misses
However the only thing constant in the world is change
You changed and so did I
That’s why she’s the one with your last name
I still remember how you used to send me love letters
And when I read them my heart felt like it was being tickled w/ feathers
The way we used to sit on the phone listening to each other breath
The times you came to see me
The way you’d wrap your long arms around my petite body
And you’d sweep me off my feet and kiss me ever so softly
So long ago, but it feels like it was just yesterday
Haven’t spoken with you in years…
But you somehow found me
And when you did
I had to pinch myself to make sure it was reality
I sat there in awe while talking to you
And when the conversation was over…
I thought to myself… now what am I to do?
But it was good reminiscing’ 
Got me over here inspired to write a little poetry
While in the background plays a little Floetry
“All you gotta do is say yes..”
See, I remember everything
