A diamond in the rough you may be.
Yet one day you will be cloaked in His glory.

You must be faithful.
You must be strong.
You must allow yourself to be God's rightful son.

Let Him have His way;
to uncover those treasures, talents, and qualities; 
Bestowed upon you, yet buried so deep...oh so deep...
Within your very being.

Allow Him to purge you of what could destroy you. 
Let those habits go and please know,
That this process is necessary,
For your road to recovery.

Claim the Promise, that many will eventually miss.

Stand, Christian Black man, stand.

Grow in His knowledge,
His strength
His wisdom
His riches
His mercy
His Everlasting...
