Close Up Shot

by Lehmy L. Mweleh

stripes upright,
part
of a whole
slashed
up,
stripes up gnawed
part
of the whole
torn apart,
stripes
rust-
anointed
part
by far
cast aside

clouds or steams
hovering
and in between
small heaps
of swallowed things
gasping

thing-like beings
human-like
lost
haging
stark-hugged
by so thick
smog-
like smoke

a blow
for close up
shot
a blasting
sign
seen unheard

human beings
inso far
as being-like
for how long
still alive?

lost life hanging
between the quaking floor
and the lapsing ceiling,
more than a collapse

lost life struggling
in vain
trembling upper there
face-to-face with
its own self-
lessness,

loss and despair
clasping those fake boles
that keep shuddering
and dangle with the wind
lost and despair
clinging to the stone
that's unable to keep bold
stone about to crumble
and turn
into cloud-like powder

lost life lost
upstairs
looking down to life
left alone
aground
part of which
and join it's no longer to be
part of which
will
desperately
try
and join diving
ending
out jettisoned

life unable
to soar higher
once
clung high

lost life lost
with breath caught
upstairs
life for breath
both of which can't
either float
or fly

'cuz thatbreathing
not of flying
birds
but pounding light
bound to drop
now feeling like jumping
down
flopping down
to eyeless death
