Dear Sisters

by Miguel A. Wilder

My dear sisters, I have something to say.

This may upset some of you, but I'll say it anyway.

When I say sisters, I don't mean everyone.

If the shoe fits, don't just wear it, lace it up, and run.

You see, I'm one of those nice men, you claim you wish you had.

I can't understand why you treat us so bad.

You say you want sincerety, but when it's right in your face.

You dog the good men out, and look some other place.

We love you, praise you, comfort you, and we trust in all you speak.

After we've exposed our hearts you say, "that brother's weak."

A good man tells you all his fears, and we always treat you good.

Time, after time you leave us for those brothers of the hood.

Don't get me wrong, I'm from the hood, and that I will not hide.

When I say brothers of the hood, I mean the ones with the hood on the
inside.

The ones that lie, cheat on you, break your heart, beat on you, and you
say you stay, because he keeps your blood hot, and your soul jumping.

When you finally leave him, you run to a good brother like me, well let
me tell you something!

Ten years, and ten kids later, and you've lost your womanly charm.

You want to come back to brothers like me, and expect open arms.

NO NO NO, at least not this brother!
I've stayed a good man, so you still might leave me for another.

I'm single, I have no kids, I have a great job, and I don't live at home
with my mama.

You get no more than what you come with, so please save all the drama.

I want a together girl, a spiritual lady, fit mind, body, and soul.

I'm searching for that half, to finally make me whole.

Until that day, she comes my way, I'll hold on the best I can.

WHERE ARE YOU SUPERWOMAN?

Love always....

Superman.
