A ribbon of white runs through the sky
The rooster crows and birds fly 
Dogs barking as they greet the light
People strolling in the cool of morning 
Past leaves swaying ever so slight
Waking from the dark of night
The gloom of gray heeds a warning 
From the blue sky that is adorning
Pushing and nudging the gray away
Bringing forth the beauty that is the day
