Bloody Words of Love

by Breezyage

Remember these words of blood
While they drip from the mouths of dogs
Falling to the ground like rain
Crying out to God like Abel cried about Cain

Remember these words I scream
While loosing life from the bite
Let my echoes of torture free your
Soul like eagles setting off in flight

Remember these words of blood
When you sleep on your feather bed
Let the memory of poverty and slavery
Invade the dreams that float in your head

Remember these words of blood
When you curse your own self
When the word Nigger flows from your lips
Like spilled milk off a refrigerator shelf

Remember these words of blood
When you compliment blonde and blue
But then insult, reject and humiliate
The very womb that carried you

Remember these words of blood
When you snarl at the God of your Fathers
Who found in the Holy Scripture
Inspiration to strategically "Wait in the water"

Remember these words of blood
Crying through the multitude of generations
They echo the woes of our past
The hope of our present
And will be our future salutation

Remember these words of blood
Aching through my thinning veins
Son remember that you are Able
Living in a world of Cains

Remember these words of blood
And you better remember them well
If you don't trust in the Lord of your fathers
Then with Cain you will be in Hell.

Remember these words of blood
While a few things are left in my mind
Have love, pride and hope in your people
Then the Glory of your ancestors will shine

Remember these words of blood
That was shed for our beautiful race
While your great, great
Grandfather is being wildly chased

Remember these words of love
While I die hear now, telling you that
You are worth everything to me and
Even through dying I will make you free some how.

Remember, remember, remember me.
Son I love you, My beloved Son of ages.

Signed,
your ancestor.
