(A Mothers Day Poem )

Mother may I share a word or two.
To express how much I Love You.

To let you know I appreciate everything you've done
through out the years.
To thank you for the hugs, kisses and wiping my tears.

A lot of people take their loved ones for granted
and that they will always be there.
But there is no time like the present
to let them know how much you care

Mother may I share a word or two
To express how much I Love You.

Because I am so blessed to have a mother as special as you.
Like, when things are going bad,
you let your love light shine through.

Not criticizing or judging me,
but lending a caring ear.
And sharing your wisdom from life
with me to make things become clear.

Mother may I have a word with you
To express how much I love You

I love you for always being there for me
I love you for the meals you prepared for me.
I love you for listening to me when I had something to say.
I love you for telling me that everything will be O.K.
I love you for taking care of me when I was ill.
I love you for the discipline and the values you've instilled.
I love you for teaching me that nothing comes for free.
I love you for teaching me that money doesn't grow on trees. 
I love you for all the lectures you would give all the time.
Even though I knew what you were going to say line by line.
I love you for teaching me to do what's right.
And that there is other ways to handle problems than to fight.
I love you for being a respectable Mother.
And most of all  I love you for being you.
 
 My Momma. 

So on this special Momma's Day, I would like to say.
I love and Thank you for all that you have done
And that I am very proud to be called your son.
