Nubiacademicerotica

by Angela Malele

Had a dream
U and I
I and U
We were walking along the beach
Overlooking the Indian Ocean
Bongo in our view
Gari, basi, city life, watu

Blocked out/shut off
By our private fortress
Ocean breeze hits
Green, gold, black and blue dress
We hold hands then you gently caress
My juicy mangos
Nice and ripe
color of chocolate milk
With each taste you say
“so soft, like silk.”

With each touch
Brainwaves transport
Us to ancient civs
Of places where great Kings and Queens lived
If in that time I had a hand
You would’ve been my explorer and I your land
Your one and only concubine
I would not have stopped till I had your mind
Had ‘mind sex’ on the floors of Timbuktu
Come, eat from the fountain of knowledge
But let us not bite off
 more than we can chew
